Short update!

This is a quick update to let everyone know that since all digital files have been completed on this project we are simply stuck in an extended wait phase as we get the final copies of the books in from our printer. 

There is no proper time line update at this point, since we were sure that it was impossible to deliver physical rewards by Halloween this year, we have been focusing on the upcoming deliveries of a few smaller projects that we will be able to ship before Christmas and our goal is to try and get the bulk of these orders out by then as well.

Since the books are involved and being so slow to print and deliver even with our US based printing company we are delayed but surely moving ahead. 

As a thank you gift, I have a digital surprise coming for all backers soon but its not yet ready so i have to keep it under wraps!

Thank you for your patience and more updates will come absolutely as soon as we have the new books in hand!

Book Printing Issues Being Resolved!

Hello Backers!

If you just received the Tome of Magical Mystery Update this one is going to sound like a broken record but for those of you who did not please see below!

Our test prints have arrived for the hardcover version of the book and there is one little tiny issue that needs to be corrected... let me restate that. The book is basically blank at this point due to some error which has yet to be determined as an issue we need to fix or the printer needs to fix!

We are in contact with them now and trying to figure it out but this update is to let everyone know the bad news. 

We are not going to make an October 2020 deliver date :( 

Since we have not received our printed decks (we had to resend in the tuck box which had an issue that was caught before they made 1000 of them, which is great) AND have been informed they are behind schedule at the printer due to the slip up on top of the test book coming back with these errors that means we're basically sitting on most of the goods for delivery except for the most important parts.

As an aside note check out the case for the Pumpkin Spice Dice, it's covered in faux leather and looks AWESOME!

For now we just have to keep pushing forward and getting the errors corrected, once we have finished products ready to go we'll be sending you tons of awesome goodies (including some extras for your patience) so hang in there with us!  

I'll post another update as we move forward and get the printing issues resolved, we had such a crazy long hiatus this year for reasons that are now behind us but I know you're all ready to see what you helped us make. We're trying our best to get it to you!

Book PDF Update!

Quick update to let you all know that the book PDF is FINISHED but will not be going out this weekend due to technical difficulties on the printers end. I have to make the PDF's match the same output as the print copies or I'm basically paying for double work.

We ran into a hump with my printer, they're telling me that the files I have been using to print my books (all of them, actually) were "bad" and needed to be edited in some minor way... even though I've successfully printed hundreds of copies of them in the past! They have actually locked me from printing additional copies until this is addressed which is annoying but not a big problem it's more of a minor inconvenience.

Their first blanket response when I asked them "Why you do this?" was that "the bleed tool" was implemented recently and old files were being put through to production by improperly trained staff and although my books LOOK fine they actually don't digitally pass their requirements without changes. That means I can't print ANYTHING from them other than card decks until I go back and get all of my files edited and that's an unnecessary pain...

I'm getting it worked out now and I've been holding off on outputting a final file for PDF delivery of the Cursed Collective until we know exactly what all the little tweaks are that will be necessary for printing. 

I'll get that PDF to you as soon as I can, hopefully as early as Monday or Tuesday if I hear back from my printer and can get this worked out!

Short update about book!

Hey Backers, short update here as the title states!

The PDF of the book will be available soon, by next weekend is what we're really shooting for! 

Everything else is the same as last update, still waiting on prints to arrive and we're at the whim of insanely high shipping prices and super slow wait lines to receive prints via ships on the sea.

I'll try to have you something awesome to look at soon! Even if you didn't pledge for the "Book" PDF I will have something extra for you to use at the table anyway :)

Okay everybody, sorry for the delay on this update but there's not a lot to tell except that I'm working on my new on premises shipping and storage area while waiting on delivery of your decks of cards. Breakdowns below of where each section of the project currently sits!

Decks of Cards

Designed, PDFs out to backers for Print and Play, physical decks being approved by the printers technical department so that we can get the actual printing underway. The process is out of my hands at this point, we just have to wait for them to show up on our door step so we can start putting them in the mail. We WILL be mailing out individual decks first as soon as they are in hand!

Books

We had some delays in getting the books finished mainly because of swapping back and forth with printers and locking down the exact templates, now that those are in place we'll get it finished as soon as we can and the PDF into your hands. Once the PDF is out to you we'll be immediately sending it out for proofing at the printer and have that process under way similar as the decks. We're trying to get this out to you by this Halloween because I know that would be an ideal time to show it to your players, I'll keep you informed!

Trick or Treat Sacks

Some of the custom items for the Trick or Treat sacks are being made now, we had to change were they were coming from but they will be the same items and the same quality! We're still locking down one of the final items so we can't give out exact dates as to when these might go out though we will try to offer you guys the option to pay separate shipping for just the deck and the book so you can have something by Halloween for your game! We might also be able to send out bits and pieces at your request but if you've got the Trick or Treat sack it would be worth the wait to hold off and get it all at once for the experience :)

That's it for now guys, I'll let you know more when I have more! As a final note our latest project "Truly Wild Magic: Remastered" did just close down with enough funding to help push these out a little faster using a US printer, if you're involved in that project thank you again for your support both here and there!
