BackerKit surveys are coming!
Keep your eyes open for an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey! It’s heading your way soon and it’s important to respond as quickly as you can… because we need this information to fulfill your rewards!
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email, just click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information… you’ll even have the chance to purchase add-on items if you like (no purchase is necessary though). 3% of surveys have already been sent out as a “Smoke Test” to make sure we aren't having any problems. If you haven’t received your survey link yet it will be on its way soon via email!
You can always go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey simply by clicking the original link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://tcc.backerkit.com.
Just so you know where to look for the survey email: if you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://tcc.backerkit.com/faq.

It’s a free place to play role-playing games and find tons of free content to use – plus, there is a ton of extra cool material in their marketplace you can quickly drop right into your adventures! Project Closed and Where From Here?

Thanks to your support and pushing this project out to your friends and family we were able to make it a reality! So… now that the project is closed, where do we go from here?
First steps usually involve Getting The Art! For this project, we're happy to say that THE ART IS ALREADY ALL DONE! That means one major hurtle is out of the way and we’re already into phase 2: the writing stage! Based on the amazing art that’s been delivered, we’ve been able to take items that were originally “just” fun and useful and upgrade them into some really amazing items that you’re sure to enjoy!
We expect about 3 weeks of writing and editing to get the bulk of the deck into a final draft form, followed then by a week of layout and tweaking. Then we’ll be ready to get something into your eager hands! If all goes according to schedule, we’ll have a review PDF of the cards ready for final polish and approval within a month – that ultimate goal is to push finished PDF's of the cards into your inboxes before Christmas!
The PDF of the finalized book might take a little bit longer since we always add a little extra story and flavor to make the books their own thing; it’s a little extra “oomph” for those who want it on their shelf BUT it won't be far behind.
As soon as PDF's are finalized and out, we'll be sending files off to print. That normally takes about 6-8 weeks; once that process starts we'll only be waiting on the folks doing the packaging to get things into the mail!
As promised we did unlock a few new pieces of art and the stretch goal we reached will put 2 extra cards into every deck and every book produced! No matter what else happens, we're going to make sure those two cards are ready for you as soon as possible so that you can make use of them in any Christmas themed games you might have planned (with a little dash of extra scariness on top, of course!)

Stretch Goal Unlocked!
We're at DOUBLE our original funding goal and that means EXTRA ITEMS for everyone! As a showing of goodwill to all and as a gift of Christmas fear we're adding into the deck 2 items that everyone's sure to love... The Grinchskin Cloak and the Skull & Spine Staff of Krampus!
Since our expected delivery date of the PDF's from the Cursed Collective is going to be near Christmas we're happy to add a few items you can plan to use right away! You can print them on your own to use in your campaign if you run a special scary adventure for your friends or family for the holidays but they'll also be printed officially in every deck that's every made from here on out thanks to your support!
With that said, if we break our next stretch goal before the campaign ends at $20,000 we'll include a fully professionally drafted horror themed Christmas Themed One-Shot Adventure that you can run as well! Something extra to make your holiday's easier on you and to bring some more livelihood to the party, it will feature high quality maps from a known artist, a few pieces of EXTRA custom art that will only be available in the adventure and pre-made characters for those who wish to just grab a sheet and drop right in. Be wary though friends, for you'll be hunting Krampus himself and that will surely be no simple task.

We finally reached 100% of our funding goal!
That means we'll be officially making some wickedly fun cursed magic items and you'll be able to add them to your game soon!
To clarify a little more about our thought process as we create this set of items let me say that these items aren't all JUST BAD or JUST HURTFUL to your characters. We're specifically focusing on making items that are YES cursed, as in they have drawbacks or unintended effects but they also are going to be useful in their own way.
We don't want to just throw a ton of terrible items at you that are only going to kill party members or maim their abilities, that isn't very fun unless you're a sadistic DM! We want to have items that really make you think and weigh the consequences of having them. Some of them might be things you'd want to use all the time and others only in specific scenarios.
Eye Of A Beholder
What's the harm of keeping a pair of boots in your pack that you know are uncomfortable to the point of exhaustion should you wear them for an entire day but will allow you to walk on water if the need arises? Or a powerful gruesome eye that fires deadly beams of force but drains your life in the process? Perhaps you simply couldn't afford the ridiculously expensive wand that you desperately need to restore your companions magically sapped strength so you were forced to settle for the one that malfunctions from time to time... who's to say what risky measures you might resort to should the need arise?
